With NSW breaking new ground in transport and energy today, announcing plans to electrify its entire rail network by 2025, the following experts are available to comment:


Tim Buckley, Director of energy finance studies, Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis. Can give expert commentary on the announcement and what it would mean for the NSW public transport network.


Bryce Gaton, EV transition consultant and member of Renew Association. An expert in the electrification of transport, Bryce can provide further information on the NSW Government’s plans and the future of electric vehicle transport in the state.


Greg McGarvie, Managing Director at Ace EV Group. Greg is an electric vehicle expert who can talk about the technology advancements making it possible for the NSW Government to make the switch to renewable-run transport. 


John Grimes, CEO Smart Energy Council. As an advocate for renewable energy solutions in Australia, John can talk about how NSW is leading the charge in transition, creating jobs and opportunities for the State.


Stephanie Gray, Energy Strategist, Solar Citizens. Can talk about how renewable energy is driving the shift in public attitudes towards climate action and spurring state governments to make change happen.


Kristy Walters, Community Engagement Manager, Community Power Agency. Can talk about the community's desire to electrify public transport and reduce costs for commuters.
