Professor Oldfield is available to discuss the following topics:
A more holistic approach is needed to address obesity
Australia is getting fatter, in fact we are one of the fattest nations in the developed world.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics National Health Survey 2017-18 showed that two thirds (67%) of Australian adults were overweight or obese (12.5 million people), an increase from 63.4% in 2014-15.
The Australian Government's focus continues to be on preventative solutions which are impactful but obesity is more complex than eating less, eating better and moving more.
