Sydney expo set to showcase caravan and camping lifestyle!

2019 Sydney Caravan Camping Lifestyle Expo

Friday 20 – Sunday 22 September 2019

Sydney Showground at Sydney Olympic Park

A Fantastic Spring Showcase of the Caravan and Camping Lifestyle

SYDNEY September 2019: NSW’s premier caravan and camping show this Spring opens at the Sydney Showground on September 20th featuring the latest model RVs, camping innovations and must-see holiday spots.

The Expo transforms the Showground into a huge undercover showroom where enthusiasts have a chance to access and compare top brands, engage directly with Australia’s leading outdoor specialists and find some great show specials as they gear up for the summer holiday season.

Organised by the peak industry body, the Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIA), the 3-day show is a quality event and a highlight of the annual caravan and camping show calendar in NSW.

More than 100 exhibitors unveil their latest products in a festive atmosphere created by a program that includes a bustling marketplace, practical training and live demonstrations, free family entertainment, plus the chance to win an Isuzu D-MAX or MU-X worth over $60,000*.

New Experiences and Product Innovations

This year the Expo will provide plenty of practical training and hands-on experiences including towing demonstrations, and the presentation of insider knowledge on the most interesting drive routes and best holiday spots.

According to CCIA chief executive officer, Lyndel Gray the emphasis on training at this year’s event has been in response to widespread interest from outdoor enthusiasts.

“Camping and caravanning is continuing its strong growth as more people seek to reconnect with nature and the outdoors. Last year Australians took 12.9 million caravan and camping trips, staying 54.5 million visitor nights.

“We’ve upped the training component of the Expo because so many people, including those new to the caravan and camping lifestyle, are keen to learn about the practicalities involved,” she explained.

Ms Gray added that the Sydney Expo is a must attend event with great show specials, celebrity appearances and a huge range of products all in the one great location.

“We are also partnering with Rural Aid to highlight their Farm Army program which gives the caravan and camping community a chance to help drought impacted regional communities through volunteering.
