12-month relay arriving in Adelaide!

Hi there,

I am emailing regarding a promotion and media opportunity currently being run by Caravan Industry Association of Australia that I thought could be of interest to your Adelaide audience.

Two Queensland women, Alice and Jen, are about to arrive in Adelaide after driving from Perth as part of a 12-month motorhome relay!

In June Dometic, Caravan Industry Association of Australia and Winnebago Australia officially launched the Follow the Sun relay, an initiative which invites everyday Australians to join us on a 12-month trip all around Australia to showcase some of the amazing sights, towns and cities in our country.

The ‘relay’ involves different people undertaking different legs of the journey and around travelling in a Winnebago motorhome visiting some of Australia’s amazing sites.

The participants are sharing photos, videos and blog posts showcasing the beauty of the places the visit and introducing us to some of the characters they meet along the way.

The relay first began at the Queensland Caravan Camping and Touring Supershow and has so far travelled through Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia.

Our current adventurers Alice and Jen are covering almost 3000km in just two weeks! They are staying in Adelaide from December 19 to 22 at BIG4 Adelaide Shores.

I am hoping we could potentially arrange some coverage with Alice and Jen to talk about the relay, some of the great things they are doing, etc. It’s a pretty cool story and also a great way to promote both the area, and caravan/camping trips.

I have attached a media release containing more information about the relay.
