Out with the old, in with the new

Out with the old, in with the new

Owners of hearing aids are about to be rewarded.

During August, Connect Hearing is offering the person who presents the oldest pair of hearing aids in the state a brand new pair valued up to $11,690*.

Hearing aids have come a long way since the old ‘beige bananas’.  New models are developed using the latest in digital technology and are virtually undetectable.

Having the right hearing solution helps people participate more in family, social and work environments.

Connect Hearing’s marketing manager, Duncan Armour, said “As hearing changes over time, getting your hearing checked by a clinician every two to three years will help make sure you have the best solution for your current level of hearing loss”.

“Every competition entrant will receive a free copy of the 2014 Consumer’s Guide to Hearing Aids.  So even if you’re not the winner, you can review some of the newer models and get on track to better hearing”, said Mr Armour.

Old hearing aids handed in to Connect Hearing clinics are donated to Ears Inc., assisting in the rehabilitation of the hearing impaired in developing countries.

Entry is free, either online at connecthearing.com.au/oldesthearingaid, or by visiting one of 134 Connect Hearing clinics around Australia.

*Terms and conditions apply and are available to view online or at a Connect Hearing clinic.
