Blackburn Accountant Nominated for 6 Australian Accounting Industry Awards

George Kontominas, the Managing Partner of Dendra Accounting Group, has been shortlisted for two individual awards in the prestigious Australian Accounting Awards, which is hosted by Accountants Daily, Australia’s top publication for the accounting industry.   

Now in its fourth consecutive year, the Australian Accounting Awards recognises individual excellence in accounting, from the profession’s most senior ranks to its rising stars. George Kontominas has been nominated for Executive of the Year and Partner of the Year and his firm Dendra Accounting Group have been shortlisted for a further 4 awards, including:

•    Boutique Firm of the Year
•    Business Advisory Firm of the Year
•    Fast-Growing Firm of the Year &
•    Firm of the Year (less than $1bn in revenue)

This means Dendra is nominated for 6 awards, an incredible achievement for any firm, but a truly exceptional result for a boutique accounting firm based in Blackburn.

This is the second consecutive year that Dendra have been nominated for the Australian Accounting Awards, and the second successive time that George Kontominas has been nominated as’ Partner of the Year’ and ‘Executive of the Year’, which is a testament to the progressive, high quality accounting and business advisory consulting work Kontominas and his firm are being recognised for.

The winners of the Australian Accounting Awards will be announced at a black tie awards dinner on Friday, 26 May at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.
