ARNOTT’S BISCUITS CELEBRATES $65 MILLION INVESTMENT IN AUTOMATED WAREHOUSE FACILITY IN WESTERN SYDNEY
Today Arnott’s Biscuits will hold a ‘Turning of the Soil’ Ceremony, celebrating the commencement of construction of Arnott’s new $65 million state-of-the-art fully automated warehousing facility at Huntingwood in Western Sydney.
The Mayor of Blacktown, Councillor Stephen Bali MP will join Ümit Subasi, President Campbell International, Craig Funnell, Vice President Supply Chain, Campbell International, along with Arnott’s employees and project partners from Auxiem, Linfox, FDC Construction and Fitout, Daifuku, and TMi at today’s event.
The new facility will streamline Arnott’s logistics and ensure its Western Sydney manufacturing operations remain competitive and positioned for growth into the future. The warehouse and its automation will take the Company’s total investment in its manufacturing infrastructure in Australia to over a quarter of a billion dollars over the past six years.
