TEACHERS FEDERATION VICE PRESIDENT VISITING CENTRAL WEST NEXT WEEK

NSW Teachers Federation Vice President Henry Rajendra is visiting the Central West next week from Monday 18 March to Wednesday 20 March to brief teachers about the union’s campaign to secure “Fair Funding Now” for public schools.

The campaign is being conducted ahead of the Federal Election in conjunction with the national body, the Australian Education Union.

Ten campaign vans, covered in Fair Funding Now livery, are on the road around Australia to highlight the need to restore needs-based funding to public schools. One of the vans will be in the Central West.

Henry Rajendra is available for interviews and photos with the Fair Funding Now van.

His itinerary is:

Monday 11am Carenne SSP (Bathurst)

                1pm Orange High School

               6pm Orange Teachers Association.

Tuesday 11am Bathurst Public School

                  1.20pm Portland Central School

                   4pm Kandos Teachers Association (Henbury Golf Club)

Wednesday 8am Rylstone Public School

                    12pm Spring Hill Public School (Orange)
