Video News Releases
Targeting broadcast media outlets has never been easier with the help of AAP Medianet's Video News Release (VNR) capabilities.
The technology used by Medianet converts your video tape (4:3 or 16:9 format) into insertions of three seconds to a minute in length, creating a storyboard of clips for news professionals to preview, select, download and insert into their newscasts, programs and websites.
As with all Medianet services, your content is distributed in its original, unedited form. Your organisations video is simply transformed into a professional, digital format available to download in a series of clips. Your VNR can then be posted on the Medianet for Journalists website and delivered via email alert to television stations, producers, program directors and other relevant recipients.
Key features of VNR's
- Your VNR is hosted on the exclusive, Medianet for Journalists website allowing your footage to be searched, viewed and downloaded by journalists for up to 12 months.
- VNR’s are provided in three formats - broadcast quality for TV, Windows Media Player and QuickTime to ensure the IT systems of your distribution audience are covered.
- In addition to AAP alerting broadcast media of your VNR, you can also include a link to your VNR in an email to send to your own client lists in Australia and overseas for up to 12 months.
- The creation, loading, hosting and email distribution of your VNR is all included in the price.
- 24/7 distribution support for clients and users.
